Foundation Model for Geospatial Analysis

Project Description:
This project focuses on the development of a foundation model pre-trained on high-resolution satellite and aerial imagery. The model leverages generative AI techniques for tasks such as image segmentation and vectorisation, with potential extensions including super-resolution, synthetic labelled dataset generation, and gap-filling in geospatial data.
The model is being developed as part of the CARTOGRAPHER platform created by Geodeticca Vision.

Project Description:
ITMS
The objective of this project was to establish the National Competence Centre for High-Performance Computing in Slovakia and provide the technical infrastructure necessary for its operation through the procurement and deployment of the DEVANA supercomputer.
The Competence Centre supports the adoption of HPC and advanced digital technologies in key sectors of the Slovak economy, including manufacturing, advanced materials, and financial services, while also promoting the use of HPC in academia and the public sector.
The project created a platform for the effective adoption of HPC technologies and digital innovation across sectors with significant growth and innovation potential.
EuroCC – National Competence Centres in the Framework of EuroHPC

Project Description:
The objective of the project was to establish the Slovak National Competence Centre for High-Performance Computing as part of the European network of HPC competence centres.
Its main mission was to promote the adoption of HPC and High-Performance Data Analytics (HPDA) within both academia and industry, with particular emphasis on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups.
The centre provided training, consulting services, and pilot access to HPC technologies. In addition, it focused on raising awareness of HPC among the broader public and expanding the impact of advanced computing technologies within public institutions and organisations.
