The HPC User Council serves as an advisory body to the Computing Centre of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, an organisational unit of the Centre of Shared Activities of the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
The Computing Centre operates as the national HPC Centre, providing access to high-performance computing systems and a broad portfolio of services for the user community.
The primary role of the HPC User Council is to provide feedback and expert recommendations to the HPC Centre on behalf of its users. This may include opinions and recommendations regarding changes to access policies, the introduction of new tools and services, calls for project proposals, and other matters relevant to the HPC community.
The Council also represents HPC users externally, engaging with the scientific community, the general public, and decision-making bodies.
